Love Out Loud – Nicole Gibson

I truly feel there’s only one way to change the world; that’s to transform ourselves. To connect to that deep part of you that realises your greatest potential, and understands your responsibility to give back to the world as the fullest expression of yourself – Nicole Gibson

In Australia, I’m known as a multi-award winning social entrepreneur, but I prefer to see myself as an unstoppable messenger of love and human potential. Join me on my mission to gain collective participation in conversations that offer the new possibility and new vision; let’s turn up the love – In her own words from https://www.nicolegibson.com.au/

When Nicole was 18, she set up a not-for-profit organisation, was a finalist for the Young Australian of the Year at 20 years old, and was one of Australia’s top 100 most influential women at 21, shortly after receiving the Pride of Australia Medal. She’s been honoured with the front cover of The Financial Review, and was featured in a documentary that aired on prime-time TV, and if that is not enough, she is also a passionate ambassador for mental health awareness after struggling with anorexia nervosa while she was a teenager.

Over the phone, Nicole was very generously able to chat with me, this is what she had to say:

My name is Nicole Gibson, I’m 26, my vision at the moment is to Love out Loud, which I am the CEO of. Our mission is to positively impact 350 Million people – or 4% of the global population by the end of 2020. When I wrote my book Love Out Loud, it was very much speaking to the reality of everyday life and how we can find the love in ourselves, which grew into this huge movement with retreats and working with ambassadors and influencers.

Through the process I found this passion to be a messenger of love. I was presenting at a conference once and there was a man that I had met years ago on a flight, who became an investor.

Nothing is going to change until we do, that is why I wrote Love Out Loud. No matter what stage in life you are in, it is applicable. As for who inspires me, whoever chooses love, and be open and vulnerable. Community members who live this way inspire me just as much as the prophets.

I feel Australia has a lot to learn in the way of innovation and community-connectedness; much of our population lacks spiritual education and awareness and personally, I feel this a significant contributor to our high-rates of suicide and mental illness – Nicole Gibson
