Iconic American Sportswear brand Nautica has joined Australian trend retail leaders General Pants to release an exclusive capsule collection this October and November. The Nautica Vintage Collection pays homage to Nautica’s 35 year history and revisits the celebrated moment in the 90s where the beachside cool meets American prep aesthetic moved from the communities into the mainstream; breaking the brand out of its East coast borders.

The colour palette transports you to California with soft yellows, vivid corals, greens, teal and purple and each
piece of the range has been created in line with the shape, structure and fabrication found in a 90s vintage
Nautica piece. The Nautica Vintage Wash Rugby Shorts, for example, are made in a heavy Cotton and washed
twice and the 10 T-shirts in the collection are oversize with low shoulder seaming, wide neckband and with a
heavy Cotton fabrication to achieve the authentic box silhouette.

The accessories in the range continue the style journey of the new wave of beachside cool. Bucket Hats and Snap Back Caps cross the boundaries of street and beach dressing and Tube Socks are set to be worn high with Cotton shorts and swims. With a neutral colour foundation, the accessories range is rounded out with pops of coral reds, green and yellow for that extra air of original 90s remakes.
