“Fallout” GVY’s Debut Single

Moves with a languid and wobbly pace to give it that current soulful pop feel – a bit like Matthew Young, Ruel etc. So yeah, it’s a good one!Triple J Unearthed Review (re: Fallout)

GVY is a Brisbane, Australia local producer, singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist – having released GVY his debut single, ‘Fallout‘.  The alt-R’n’B / Electronic Pop pangs with a familiar feeling of unexpected or uncertain love, lust, and frustration.

Inspired by artists such as The Beatles, Biffy Clyro, Asgier, Frank Ocean, and Lianne La Havas. It’s a broad and diverse pallet that GVY explores in his music –  pushing the boundaries and setting no limit on where his art might take him.

“There were years of pent up emotions that I hadn’t fully processed and just letting them spill into words and melodies by myself was proving to be a really natural vehicle to express and process.” This track represents the “vulnerable expression of someone, it’s about the feelings of uncertain love, the danger of heartbreak, going all in anyway, and moulding into the pain that comes with that.” – GVY
